She was predeceased by: her parents, William Huguley and Madge Gunnell Huguley; her husband Dulith Cothern; and her siblings, Dixie Huguley Dewitt and Pat Huguley.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Cothern of Slaughter, Joe Cothern (Dee) of Watson, Sheila Cothern of Topeka and Sandra King (Eddie) of Topeka, Mississippi; her sister Ramona Hurt of Jackson, Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Madonna Pendarvis, Joey Cothern, Billy Cothern, Robin Cothern, Matt Cothern, Meredith Davis, Shane Bullock, Shannon Bullock and Shelly King. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
