She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellis and Martha Fowler Love; her husband Joseph "Joe" Elkins McCorkle, Sr.; her son Joseph Elkins McCorkle, Jr.; and her grandson Joe Paul McCorkle.
She is survived by: her children, Myra, Martha Ruth of White House, TN, Willie Fisackerly of Nesbit, MS, Lanora Livingston (Mark) of Nesbit, MS and James McCorkle (Linda) of Nashville, TN; and her daughter-in-law Dorothy McCorkle of Louisville, MS. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
