He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Griffin and Merle Clark Griffin; and his siblings, James Homer Griffin, Huey Griffin and Joan Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Williams (Jeremy) of Leakesville, MS and DeWayne Griffin of Boyle, MS; his grandchildren, Ezra Smith, Wyatt Williams, Django Griffin, Destiny Miller, Gypsy Griffin and Gemma Griffin; and his siblings, Coralee Morris, Nina Faye Poe (Oscar), Eloise McGowan (Earl) and Billy Joe Griffin (Faye). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
