She was predeceased by: her mother Hattie Alma Petrie Shannon; her husband William Thomas Lehr; her father Roy C. Shannon; her siblings, Roy C. Shannon, Jr., Thomas Earl Shannon, Dennis M. Shannon, Bessie Hancock, Mamie Langham and Doris Horton; and her children, Sonny Hairston and Gloria Lehr.
She is survived by: her children, Tommie E. Jack of Oregon and William C. Lehr (Emily) of Brandon, MS; and her daughter-in-law Andrea Hairston of Peck. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, and a few great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association, Ruleville Baptist Church, or Dockery Baptist Church.
