It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Augustus Stansel Jr. of Ruleville, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene A. Stansel, Sr. and Elizabeth Richey Stansel of Ruleville, MS.; and his wife Jere Gibert Stansel of Perthshire, MS.. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Skinner (David) of Philadelphia, PA, Martha Boyd (Bill) of Oxford, MS and Catharine Matthews (Brad) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Tanous, William Boyd, John David Skinner, Joshua Skinner, Betsy Boyd, Richard Boyd and Dottie Matthews; and his sister Martha Stansel Schouten of Fayence, France..
