He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Miller Arant, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Carver Arant; his wife Ann Elizabeth Baird Arant; his children, David Carver Arant, Jr. (Rebekkah) of Ruleville, Mary Hunter Sharp (Jeremy) of Vicksburg and Allen Arant (Lindsay) of Eads, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Carver, Walker, Hunter Arant, Sawyer, Hayden, Barrett, Annelise, Alice Sharp, Jane Allen, Bennett, Baird and Georgia Arant; his siblings, Hugh Arant, Jr. (Lucy) and Allyson Land (John); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Baird (Cindy) and Celeste Manning (Mark). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, Mississippi.
