He is survived by: his mother Cora Lee Griffin Herring of Drew, MS; his wife Fran Hamblen of Ruleville, MS; his son Dale Herring Jr. (Casey) of Portland, TN; and his siblings, Joel Morris (Donna "Lynn") of Parks Bayou, MS, Ricky Morris of Parks Bayou, MS, Joe "Poncho" Morris Jr. (Glenda) of Drew, MS and Cindy Horton (Bo) of Ruleville, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
