He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ray Whitehead and Bobbie Nell Graves; his sisters, Brenda Whitehead and Susan Jackson; his grandparents, Oliver, Pearline McCall, Mama Dale, Ray and Pauline Whitehead; and his nephew Matthew Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Aldridge Whitehead; his sons, Braxton Whitehead (Jennifer) and Scott Whitehead; his siblings, Eddie Ray Whitehead, Allan Whitehead (Liz) and Kathy Brazil; his grandchildren, Hunter Whitehead (Emilee), Kenzie Whitehead Smith (Connor), Braden Whitehead, John Devon Whitehead and Storm Whitehead; and his great grandchildren, Evy Smith, Colt Whitehead, Asa Smith and Emy Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roxie Baptist Church (200 Carolina St, Roxie, MS 39661). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
