It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Smith of Roxie, Mississippi, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Williams and Jenny Williamson Williams; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Smith. She is survived by: her significant other Williard Preston Smith; her children, Williard "Wayne" Smith and Beverly Smith Stebbins; her grandsons, Steve Smith, Elliott Stebbins (Sarah) and Brady Stebbins (Beth); her great grandchildren, Colton (Brandy), Samantha, Tristan Smith, Emma Claire, Eli Stebbins, Bentley and Brooke Stebbins; her great great grandchildren, Steven James and Caden Smith; her brother Carroll Williams (June); her nephews, Kenny Williams (Jenna) and Michael Williams (Vangi); and her niece Michelle Strong (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Irene Smith to Greendale Cemetery Association (101 Smith Rd, Roxie, MS 39661).
