He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Dukes and Daisy Nixon Dukes; his wife Donzella McCormick Dukes; his sons, Robert E. Dukes, Joe Willie Dukes and Tarsken Dukes; and his siblings, Robert Dukes, Martha Ellis, Mattie Martin and Johnnie Jackson. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren as well as other family and friends.
