It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geroge M. Chatham (Rose Hill, Mississippi), who passed away on May 24, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Todd Chatham and Ola Mae Lewis Chatham; his sons, Jerry Todd Chatham and Gerry Alton Chatham; and his brother James "Jimmy" Chatham.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Chatham; his daughters, Susan Reynolds (Jimmy), Nancy Chamblee (David) and Ronna Nichols (Ashley Lewis); his grandchildren, Dale Reynolds, Crissy Reynolds Bufkin (Heath), Erica Wedgeworth Dear (Ben), Brittney Hamrick and Ashley Hamrick; his great grandchildren, Meribella Rose Bufkin, Mylee Reis Bufkin, Benjamin Ayden Dear, Merritt Alexander Dear, Steven Rhett Purvis, Michael Bryce Purvis and Holli Riley; and his siblings, Janice McAfee of Arlington, TX, Charles Chatham (Dene), Cindy McCormick (Doc) and Meridian. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Meridian chapter of the American Cancer Society.
