He is survived by: his children, Lola (Winnie), Avery (Russell) of Pearl, Cindy Mae Cole (Joe) of Redwood and John Curtis Smith (Angie) of Blanton; his grandchildren, Melissa Avery Sines (Thomas) of Denton, TX, Christy Avery Morehead (Brian) of Pearl, Natasha Smith Carwyle (Adam) of New Albany, Dixie Vance Gaul of Vicksburg and John Robert Smith (Kaely) of Benton; and his siblings, Grace and Sam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
