She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Miles, Sr.; her son John Allen Miles; and her parents, Mary Meshell and Pete Meshell. She is survived by: her children, Lester Miles, Jr. (Susan), Carl Douglas Miles, Sr. (April), Francis Womack, Dorothy Carter (Alan), Jane Dobbins and Linda Matheson (John). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
