He is survived by: his wife Brenda Nelms; his children, Tiffany Murphy (Cody) of Ripley, Justin Moffitt (Cindy) of Ripley, Jason Nelms (Denise) of Saulsbury, TN, Shawn Nelms of Saulsbury, TN, Kevin Nelms (Casey) of Middleton, TN, Keith Nelms of Middleton, TN and Chris Herman of Middleton, TN; his siblings, Sue Kirby and Calvin Nelms; and his grandchildren, Korbin Burnett, MaKayla McCracken, Kylie Deaton, Peyton Herman, Holdyn, Braxton, Alyna Moffitt, William Wayne, Jason Jr., Andrew, Waylon, Mason, Carson and Kailey Nelms.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Email. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
