With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waymon Thomas Covington (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on September 30, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Allen and Jimmie Irene McCluskey Covington. He is survived by: his brother Jimmie Allen Covington (Shirley); his nephews, John Covington (Kim) and Michael Covington (Rachel); his niece Jimmie Ann Spence; and his friend Dr. Dwalia South.
When during COVID, Westminster closed its doors, Tommy made Ripley Presbyterian his church home.
The family request donations be directed to the Ripley Presbyterian Church, Ripley Public Library, or the Wiers Chapel Cemetery Fund in the care of the Peoples Bank in Ripley.
