With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Annette Hefley Gunn (Ripley, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sims Hefley and Annie Mae Coleman Hefley; her husband William Preston Gunn; her siblings, Danny Hefley and Helen Jones; her siblings-in-law, Richard Jones and Pat Hefley; and her great grandchild Jake Howell Koon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dian Kuykendall (Jerry) of Tremont, MS, Susie Young (Robert) of Muscle Shoals, AL, Paullette Harris (Preston) of Mooresville and Cindy Hall (John David) of Falkner, MS; her grandchildren, Beth Blanton (Len), Kim Koon (Matt), Rob Young (Melinda), Spencer Hall, Anna Claire Nencetti (David) and Pres Harris (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Mattie Sims Koon, Whit Koon, Weston Young, Ryland Young, Lana Young and Harlow Harris; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Macy Blanton.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
