She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlis Shoffner and Elizabeth Shoffner; her sisters, Omalou Thomas and Anne Witt; her husband Larry Moffitt, Sr.; and her granddaughters, Jessica Moffitt and Anna Marie Moffitt.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nan Pannell, Peggy Cissom and Nathan Shoffner; her children, Elizabeth Akins Carla Morgan (Bondy), Larry Moffitt, Jr., JD Moffitt (Becky) and Hughey Moffitt (Angela); and her grandchildren, Zach Akins (Taylor), Marissia Bennett (Patton), Laura Morgan Shirley (Nelson), Emily Moffitt, Ronnie Rowland (Melissa), Brylea James (Tyler), Chelsea Gonzalez (Christian) and Amber Spellings (Aaron). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663).
