He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Crum and Azzie Crum; his grandchildren, Lawrence Desuan Simmons and Harlem Powell; and his siblings, Helen Johnson (Charles), Flora B Smith, Margie Johnson (Henderson), Henry Crum, Hillman Crum and Gary Crum.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Crum; his children, Aretha Williams (Albert), Christy Wallace of Ripley, MS and Carrie Crum (Tina) of New Albany, MS.; and his siblings, Anthony Crum (Sheila) of Ripley, MS, Junior Crum (Mary Sue) of Youngstown, Ohio. and Beatrice Cowan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
