With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Rose Bryant of Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Drewery and Nannie Tapp Drewery; her husband J. D. Bryant; her grandson Allen Jones; and her siblings, Lyman Drewery, Marshall Drewery, Martin Drewery, Carl Drewery of Kelly Drewery, V. B and Lola Lattimore.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Jones (Jo Ann) of Ripley, MS and Starlett Jones of Ripley, MS; her sister Wilma Daphine "Tootie" Rainey of Ripley, MS; her grandchildren, Candace Lowry (Robert), Craig Jones (Amber), Jonathan Jones (Amanda) and Jarrett Jones (Leah); her great grandchildren, Cayden Lowry, Amber Thomas, Dylan Jones, Gaby Kuhl, Erica Hopkins, Cason Jones, Caroline Jones, Ayden Jones, Madli Sartain and Gavin Sartain; her close friend Helen Gooch; and her pet Bandit. She is also survived by nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
