It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monterio D Adams of Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dessie Rucker (Tommy), A. Z. Adams, Bessie Tye and Junior Jackson. He is survived by: his parents, Catherine Palmer (David) and Randall Tye; his children, Monterio and Monica Prather; his granddaughter Ja'Ziah Marie Prather; and his siblings, Camille Cameo Adams, Michiko Adams, Marcus Adams, Marcus Barkley, Deion Palmer, Cedric Gipson (Jamila) and Micheal Luna.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
