He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dessie Rucker (Tommy), A. Z. Adams, Bessie Tye and Junior Jackson. He is survived by: his parents, Catherine Palmer (David) and Randall Tye; his children, Monterio and Monica Prather; his granddaughter Ja'Ziah Marie Prather; and his siblings, Camille Cameo Adams, Michiko Adams, Marcus Adams, Marcus Barkley, Deion Palmer, Cedric Gipson (Jamila) and Micheal Luna.
