She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Estes and Elizabeth Shappley Estes; her husband Donald Fant Hobson; her sons, Don Paul Hobson and Ted Estes Hobson; and her siblings, Paul, Robert, Hiram, Silas, Steadman Estes, Mary Scarth, Jamie Whitby, Jo Lee, Kitty Amagalina and Dorothy Bennett Morrison.
She is survived by: her sister Pam Dietz of San Antonio; her daughters-in-law, Norma Hobson of Gravestown and Wanda Hobson of Tupelo, Mississippi.; her grandchildren, Jeff Hobson of Gravestown, Melody Powers (Bill) of Gravestown, Kim Jarvis (Bryan) of Tupelo and Susan Featherston (Todd) of Littleton, Colorado.; and her great grandchildren, Clayton Jarvis (Margaret) of Tupelo, Corey Jarvis of Tupelo, Katie Volk (Wilson) of Germantown, Jack Powers (Kylie) of Columbus and Mattie Powers of Lubbock, Texas..
