It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon McClung Bailey Jr. (Ripley, Mississippi), born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Prue Bailey and Leon Bailey; his wife Diane Elliott Bailey of Ripley; his children, Leon "Elliott" Bailey of Atlanta, Georgia and Lauren Bailey Steverson (Jody) of Ripley; his grandson Sam Steverson; his brothers, David Alison and Robert Preston Bailey; and also Prue Bailey of Meridian.
