He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny V. Davis and Litha Harden Davis; his brother Garry Davis; and his former wife Donna Lancaster Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jean Nabors Davis; his sons, Michael Davis (Jennifer) of Pisgah, MS and Jim Smith (Angela) of Ripley, MS; his brothers, Danny Davis (Donna) of Corinth, MS and Norris Davis (Linda) of Corinth, MS; his sister-in-law Tommie Nell Roberts (Joe); his nieces, Jodie of Corinth, MS, Linda Epting (David) of Ripley, MS, Anne Castle (Bobby) of Georgetown, TX and Charlotte Davis of Dyersburg, TN; his grandchildren, Lyndsey Wheeler (Justin) of Pisgah, MS and Syndey Davis of Starkville, MS; and his great grandchildren, Darcy Wheeler and Davis Wheeler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
