She was predeceased by: her parents, D. W. Luster and Bama Braddock; her husband Leland Cox; her stepfather Pete Braddock; her grandparents, Nodie Edgeston and Brick Prather (Doc Luster); and her siblings, Larry Braddock, John Lee Blackwell, Hazel McBride Boyd and Vera Mae Johnson.
She is survived by: her former spouse R. C. Peterson; her son Ray Curtis Peterson; and her siblings, Billy Braddock (Sarah) of Ripley, MS, Bobbie Jean Buggs (Dennis) of Grand Junction, TN and Louise Spight (Stanley) of Odessa, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
