She is survived by: her children, Rebecca A. Stubbs and John E Stubbs, Jr. (Rita); her granddaughter Jenny Appling (Robert); her great grandchildren, Addison Cappleman and Avery Appling of Olive Branch; her grandchild Lauren Kirkman (Joe); her great grandchildren, Zylah, Zander Kirkman and Caleb Stubbs of Atlanta, GA; her adoptive daughter Dr. Dwalia South of Ripley; and her sister Ellen Maxine Kennedy Ford of New Albany.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to West Ripley Baptist Church youth program.
