He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Ray Wammack and Lind Kay Troup Wammack; his wife Brenda Goolsby Wammack; and his grandson Brandon Wilbanks. He is survived by: his children, Joseph William Wammack, Jr. of Ripley, MS and Shonna Jackson (Jody) of Walnut, MS; his siblings, Jeffery Wammack of Savannah, GA, Kelly Morrison of Colorado and Doreen Brower of Savannah, GA; and his grandchildren, Micah Wilbanks of Saltillo, MS, Claudia Wammack of Ripley, MS, Kimzie Jackson of Walnut, MS, Kadalee Wammack of Ripley, MS and Ann Marie Jackson of Walnut, MS..
