The memory of Jimmy Walker (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tolbert Herman Walker and Janie Silvernail Walker; and his siblings, Robert Allen Walker, Bill Walker, Francis Gatlin and Mary Florence Messick.
He is survived by: his brother Brig; his wife Earlene; and his children, Beth Bailey (Al), Jim Walker (Sherry) and Henry Walker (Lisa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Ripley Baptist Church (773 W Cooper St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
