He was predeceased by: his parents, Gobert "Bill" Lawson and Virdie Lou Pannell Lawson; his brothers, Duel Lawson, David Lawson and Danny "Coconut" Lawson; and his siblings-in-law, W. C. Thrasher, Shelia Bullock Lawson (Jeff Lawson), Jumper and Mo Olive (Ricky Lewis).
He is survived by: his siblings, Pauline Thrasher, Syble Studdard (James), Shelia Patterson (Donnie), Sonny Lawson (Evelyn), Robert Lawson (Renea) and Jerry Lawson (Denae); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Lawson and Annette Lawson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Paul's Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
