With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jimmy Earl Haynes (Ripley, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Ruby Hatcher Haynes; his daughter Cindy Downs; and his siblings, Mary V Everett, Mary Ruth Myers and Curtis Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Luna Haynes; his children, Bruce Haynes (Suzette) and Ginger Smith (Ben); his son-in-law Berkley Downs; his grandchildren, Colton Haynes, Kaylee Caviness (Ryan), Collin Smith (Callie), Moriah Smith, Claira Smith, Evan Smith and Becca Downs; his great grandchild Mila Kennedy Smith; and his brothers, Eddie Haynes and John Haynes (Mary).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeal Home Email. A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel of the Ripley Funeral Home (1011 City Ave N, Ripley, MS 38663).
