We bid farewell to Jesse W. Embrey (Ripley, Mississippi), born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 8, 2025 at the age of 82. Jesse touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Embrey and Elisabeth "Molly" South Embrey; his son Jesse Embrey III; his sisters, Essie and Sue (Sydney); and his stepbrothers, Carl Hopkins and Victor Owens.
He is survived by: his significant other Shelia Franklin; and his sons, Paul "Tony" Anthony and Kenneth Raymond (Virgina). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flat Rock Baptist Church (3753 MS-2, Hickory Flat, MS 38633). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
