He is survived by: his wife Louise Clemmer Carter Harrison; his children, Beverly Stubbs, Angie Reed (John) and Gary Carter (Dianne); his grandchildren, Jordan Lockett, Scott Stubbs (Leanna), Austin Reed (Hailey), Chris Carter (Amanda) and Steven Carter (Amber); and his caregivers, Linda Rutherford, Justin Rutherford, Ceolia Peterson and Linnie Selmer. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
