He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Gadd and Lucille Sides Gadd; his wife, Carolyn Gearlene Jones and his son, Paul Gadd of Hickory Flat; daughter-in-law, Dottie Overall Gadd of Ripley, MS. He is survived by his son Phillip Gadd, of Ripley, MS; daughter, Frita Rakestraw (Roger); of New Albany; his granddaughters, Beth Howard (Dan) of Florence, AL; Maranda Cheatwood of New Albany, MS, Mikayla Hunter (Mark) of New Albany, MS and Hannah Ahlum (Jimmy) of Ecru, MS.. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
