It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Marie Levan Nance of Ripley, Mississippi, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Levan and Lillian Cope Levan; and her brothers, Benjamin Franklin, Jr. and Thomas Edward. She is survived by: her children, Thelma James, Barbara Nance, Nancy Friedel (Robin) and William Fondaw. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
