It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Jane Locke Kirkman (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beale Locke and Hattie Johnson Locke; and her husband Joe Kirkman. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Kirkman (Shelly) of Marrero, LA, Kerwin Kirkman (Karen) of Falkner, MS, Adam Kirkman (Halley) of Ripley, MS and Lana Kirkman of Ripley, MS; her brother Bobbie Gene Locke of Selmer, TN; her grandchildren, Kristen Knight (Lee), Colin Kirkman, Chase Kirkman, Gunnar Kirkman, Emma Barkley, Brayden Kirkman and Hattie Kirkman; and her great grandchildren, Talon Knight and Gavin Knight.
