He was predeceased by: his parents, Dancy Felon Thompson and Lexa Thompson (Renick); his grandsons, John Yates and Cody Rinehart; and his brother Bill Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Thompson; his daughters, Kathy Bennett (Mitch) and Melisa Lefler Melody Yates (Robby); his stepsons, Patrick Rinehart (Tiffany) and Chris Rinehart (Dawn); his siblings, Lee Nicholson and Jerry Keith Thompson; and his grandchildren, Chelsea Bennett (Matt), Kristen Roberson (Weston), Anna Beth Clifton (Hunter), Greyleigh Vaughn Rinehart, Jeremy Bennett Chris Lefler (Heather), Mark Lefler (Kallie), Austin Rinehart (Billie Jo), Jonah Rinehart (Marleigh), Cooper Rinehart, Brock Yates (Giny), Jeremy Bennett and Chris Lefler. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
