It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine S Cowan (Ripley, Mississippi), who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Story and Marie Horston Story. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her daughters, Anesha (Kwame), Melany, Melissa (Jason) and Monica (Phillip); her sisters, Mae Rene Gillard and Lila Faye Liggins (Ernest); and her sisters-in-law, Sallie Hailey (William), Carolyn Prather (Phillip) and Brenda Storey (James). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cous- ins, and friends.
