He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Bouton and Annie Lee Rogers Morton; his brothers, David Morton (Marsha) and Terry Lee Morton (Susie); his wife Sandra Luna Morton; and his grandchildren, Damon Morton, Lorenzo and Grace Anna.

He is survived by: his children, Moriah Williams (James Cox), Esther Racz (Roger), Brandon Morton (Michelle) and Troy Morton (Brenda); his close friend Ruth Derrick; and also Joy Rainey.
