He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ross and Lillie Mae Webb Shelby; and his siblings, Clara Lee Davis and Billy Glenn Shelby. He is survived by: his children, Renee Shelby Childers (Richard), Carla Shelby Manners (Phillip) and Jeffery Lynn Shelby; and his grandchildren, Meagan Smith, Rebecca Spires (Cody), Rachel Boone (Caleb), Taylor Wallace (Reade), Morgan Shelby, Alexandra Surbaugh (Nathan), Paige Henry (Tyler) and Kathryn Shelby. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
