It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Windham of Ripley, Mississippi, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Randolph and Clara Huddleston Gattis; her husband Holley Wayne Windham; her brother Terry Wade Paseur; and her siblings-in-law, Rachel Windham Gattis and Willie Lee Bryan.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Jean Thurmond (Keith) and Jerry Wayne Windham (Allison) of Ripley; her siblings, Jewel Marie Bryan of Ripley and Thomas Terrell Gattis of Jacksonville Alabama; her grandchildren, Dr. Patrick Ross Thurmond (Mollie) of Madison, MS, Holly Marie Thurmond Pataki (Tim) of Catonsville, MD, Bennett Wayne Windham (Katie Lee) of Columbus, MS, Brad Thomas Wayne Windham (Taylor) of Pace, FL and Zoe Mikaila Windham Massengill (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Clara Ross, Etta Marie, Patrick Wyatt Thurmond, Charlie Marie, Elizabeth Palmer, Andrew Patrick Pataki, Julia Bennett, Livia Renee Windham, Eloise Lenore Windham and Massengill.
