She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas David Johnson and Gladys Whitaker Johnson; and her siblings, Tim Johnson, Betty Basden and Kay Ross.
She is survived by: her husband David "Jody" Mitchell; her children, Shane Mitchell, Scotty Mitchell and Kristy Mitchell; her grandchildren, Keiley Hughes, Jaycee Hughes, Cody Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell, Carson Mitchell, Taylor Mitchell, Bryson Mitchell and Hunter Mitchell; her sister Martha "Mossie" Brecheen (Bud); and her brother-in-law Ted Ross.
