She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Sanford and Dorothy Ruth Jackson Mahler; and her father-in-law Franklin Henson. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Henson; her daughters, Addison Henson (Zach Killough) and Chloe'Barger (Seth); her grandchildren, Riley Hedges, Roman Winsett and Thomas Killough; her brother C. M. Sanford (Pam); and her mother-in-law Maxine Henson.
