He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Martin and Sophia Martin; his siblings, Herbert Martin, Frankie Guthrie, Judith Morrisson and Janice Patton; and the mother of his child Joan Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Kealy Martin; his son Michael Martin (Monica); his stepdaughter Erin Halley (Charles); his grandchildren, Caitlin Buchanan (Jonathon), Graceson Martin, Carlee Martin, Bennett Halley and Jackson Halley; his great grandchildren, Charlee Buchanan and Bentlee Buchanan; and his brother L. C. Martin (Judy).
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tate Baptist Church (1201 N Harper Rd, Corinth, MS 38834). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
