It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Richard Newman III (Ridgeland, Mississippi), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Bentley Newman and William Richard Newman Jr.; and his daughter Nan Merrell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mize; his son Richard Newman IV (Mary Nell); his sisters, Barbara Kroeze and Carolyn McIntyre (John); his grandchildren, Bentley Harrison (Reid), Avenell Ferguson (Brent), Miles Merrell and Richard Newman V; and his great grandchild Chloe Harrison.
