Wiley Ray Philley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wiley Ray Philley (Ridgeland, Mississippi), born in Calhoun City, Mississippi, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Wendall Philley and Climmie Ray Philley; and his brothers, Leon, Dean and Gary.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Mason Sims; his children, Christopher R. Philley (Lisa Greene) of Jacksonville and Kimberly P. Hutchinson (Ryan) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Christopher Reagan Philley, Mason Reaves Hutchinson and Olivia Katherine Hutchinson; and his siblings, Peggy McAlpin (Smokey) of Clinton, Linda Philley Aldridge of Fargo and Robert Philley (Sue) of Grenada, Mississippi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Christ United Church (6000 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS 39211). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
