With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robin Richey Williams (Ridgeland, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verde A. Richey and Helen Hutchins Richey; and her brother David Michael "Slim" Richey. She is survived by: her daughters, Claire W. Aiken (Richard) of Jackson, MS, Alison W. Hogan Vinson (Wade) of Houston and Susan Williams Haas (John) of Austin; her grandchildren, Robert Aiken (Corey), Elizabeth "Beth" Aiken Hudspeth (Seth) of Jackson, MS, Claire Hogan of Austin, Lauren Hogan of Austin, Robert "Rob" Hogan of Brooklyn, NY, Andrew Haas (Eliana), Erin Haas Tennant (Nathaniel) of Auckland, NZ and Benjamin Haas of Austin; her nieces, Cindy Sholes, Sally Savino and Julie Phillips; and her nephew Tom Richey. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Crest Cemetery.

“Ii was so very sorry to read of Robn's passing in the Jimplecute, Jefferson's weekly paper, today. I had heard that she had been very ill for some time. I knew her and her husband Robert from high school days.They were a bit older but a small school and we were all friends..She was a sweet girl and a lovely lady; a fine fine pianist who took lessons from the classically trained and formidable, Miss Eva Eberstadt.
