She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gandy and Jessie Mae Gandy; her husbands, V. Ray Bennett and Gene H. Meadows; and her siblings, C. A. Gandy, Denver Gandy, Van Gandy, Luke Gandy, Wallace Gandy, Robert Gandy, John Gandy, Walter Gandy, Marion Gandy and Linnie Mae Shirley.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Bennett Williams (Keith Williams) of Jacksonville, FL and William Ray Bennett of Madison, MS; her grandchildren, Meghan Wilkinson (BJ), Drew Pickens (Jessica), Rory Pickens, Courtney Bennett, Ryan Bennett and Cambrie Bennett; her great grandchildren, Lane Wilkinson, Eden Wilkinson, Ava Wilkinson, Kyla Pickens and DJ Pickens; her stepgrandchildren, Joshua Williams, Amber McCalip and Mia WIlliams; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Astrid, Lincoln, Hadley, Emilee and Trent.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (1161 Highland Colony Pkwy, Ridgeland, MS 39157). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
