He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Morris; his stepfather Fred Adams Jr.; his grandparents, Vernal and Silas Reed; and his uncle James Reed.
He is survived by: his mother Jean Reed Adams; his wife Kathryn Merrell Morris; his sons, Brock and Kade Morris; the mother of his children Amy Morris; his stepsons, Wood Simmons (Rachel), Daniel Simmons and Luke Simmons (Abbey); his grandchildren, Waits Simmons and Burns Simmons; and his siblings, Lesa Morris Rogel, Shannon Miller (Mitch), Robin McGuire (Jimmy) and Bobby Morris Jr..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Reed House (11200 US 49 N, Jackson, MS 39209). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Wilson Foundation at Methodist Rehabilitation Center 1350 East Woodrow Wilson Avenue Jackson MS 39216.
