As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Kathryn Kitchens may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her husband James; her daughter Alaina; her parents, Jeff Kitchens and Jeanna Kitchens; and her siblings, Josie Hammons (John) and Hunter Kitchens (Nicole). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Ridgeland Baptist Church (302 W Jackson St, Ridgeland, MS 39157). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery (759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110).
