He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Natale Salvo (Fritz) and Gertrude Burke Salvo (Trudy); and his brother Donald Joseph Salvo (Donnie). He is survived by: his son Frederick Natale Salvo, III (Jennifer); his wife Sandra; his grandchildren, Natalya, Olivia and Frederick IV; and his siblings, Paul (Roxanne), Lou Jordan (John) and Sheila Alwood (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
