Charles Ferrell McAlpin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, at the age of 94, Charles Ferrell McAlpin (Ridgeland, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer McAlpin and Essie McAlpin; and his brothers, John Billy McAlpin and James Earl McAlpin. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jeri" Hurst McAlpin; his daughters, Mala Harris (Joe Bob) and Michele Smith (Gary); his grandchildren, Kacey Ginn (Matt), Jamie Dean (Justin), Trey Harris (Santana), Kyle Smith (Misty) and Matt Smith (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Myers, Harris, Eleanor Ginn, Cooper, Foster Dean, Mason Mansoor, Addison Temple and Grayson Smith; and his brother Mitchell Clyde McAlpin (Gail).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee.
